The Winchester Multispecialty Community Provider (MCP) area covers Winchester City and incorporates the surrounding rural areas of Four Marks to the East and Wickham in the South. We work very closely with the Andover and surrounding areas team to improve care as part of Mid-Hampshire Better Local Care. Our aim, working with our local population and existing local services, is to provide integrated, timely and effective new models of care.
We have many exciting projects planned over the coming year and look forward to sharing more with you shortly.
Ten GP practices are involved in Better Local Care in this area, supporting a population of around 129,000 people.
